Our Story

After a wonderful three-week holiday in Sri Lanka with Niranjan and Ruth, we were on our way to the airport, reminiscing about the amazing places we had visited — Chilaw’s golden beaches, the wildlife at Wilpattu, Ella’s misty mountains, Yala’s leopards and elephants, Wale and Dolphin watching in Mirissa and the vibrant city of Colombo, famous for its great food, hotels, and shopping.

That’s when I (Adrian) had a thought —
why not share this incredible experience with golfers from around the world who love to play, explore, and relax with their family or friends?

Having played golf in countries such as the USA (Florida), England, Sweden, Portugal, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, and  Sri Lanka, I realized that nowhere else offers the diversity our island does — world-class golf, breathtaking scenery, rich culture, beaches, wildlife, tea plantations, and Ayurveda spas — all within just a few hours’ drive.

So, we decided to create Golf Beyond — offering golfers, their families, and friends a memorable golf and holiday adventure in beautiful Sri Lanka.

Together with Niranjan, who brings over 30 years of travel industry experience managing tours in Sri Lanka for some of the world’s most renowned tour operators, we combine our strengths to give guests the very best of both worlds.

Niranjan ensures every detail is perfectly handled — from flights and hotels to sightseeing and transfers — thanks to his deep industry knowledge and trusted partnerships.

Meanwhile, I take care of everything related to golf, drawing on my experience as an avid player and winner of the Life Members Cup at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (2024).
