Established in 1889 by a Scottish officer of the Gordon Highlanders, the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club is one of Asia’s oldest and most picturesque courses. 

Set amidst lush tea plantations at an altitude of 1,830 meters (6,000 ft), an unique challenge with its tight fairways, tricky slopes, and crisp mountain air. Measuring 5,851 meters (6,399 yards) with a Par 70 layout, it blends timeless colonial charm with the natural beauty of Sri Lanka’s central highlands—offering golfers a truly classic experience.
